  First National Bank of Huntsville expanded its’ service outside of Walker County with the acquisition of Crockett State Bank in 1997. Now operating as Crockett Bank, this division of First National Bank of Huntsville provides the citizens of Houston County access to banking capabilities with the local service and feel of a community bank. A little history of the bank locations: Crockett State Bank operated in a two story building on the northeast corner of the square in downtown Crockett; it was known as The Murchison Building and home to Crockett State Bank for 57 years.  In 1964, we proudly opened the doors to a brand new banking facility on the corner of E. Houston Ave. and 7th Street where it has operated for 56 years. Crockett Bank is proud to be a witness to many years of history in Houston County and we look forward to continuing to provide the best service to our customers.
